Hebrews 10:19–22
19 "Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water."
It has admittedly been a long journey of explanation from the writer. He has gone into great detail explaining to us the sacrifice of Christ, the offering of Christ, and the High Priestly work of Christ on our behalf. Now he comes to the application. What should we do with those truths? First, place your confidence in that truth. The writer says we have confidence to enter the holy place. No Jew would have ever even considered it, but if Jesus did what we believe He did, then we can approach God without fear. Do you have that kind of confidence? Pray that our entire church would have the confidence to approach God through Jesus Christ.
PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH FAMILY
