1 John 3:4–6
4 "Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. 5 You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin. 6 No one who abides in Him sins; no one who sins has seen Him or knows Him."
"in Him there is no sin." The world has many ways of identifying and categorizing the life of Jesus. Certainly it is not wrong to speak of His kindness or mercy or compassion, however it is clear that Scripture favors one characteristic of Christ above all the rest. He is sinless. In your efforts to be more like Christ, start there.
