1 John 4:12–14
12 "No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us. 13 By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. 14 We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world."
So showing God's love is a Christian obligation, it is also the means of Christian assurance. And in verse 14 we are reminded that it is the greatest testimony we can give to the saving love of Christ in our lives. How do we show the world that Jesus Christ is the true Savior of the World? We testify to this when we walk in love, thus proving we have been saved from our sinful flesh.
PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH FAMILY
