Hebrews 8:1–2
1 "Now the main point in what has been said is this: we have such a high priest, who has taken His seat at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, 2 a minister in the sanctuary and in the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, not man."
We have a faithful and praying high priest who sits at the right hand of God in the true tabernacle. And then the writer says, it is a tabernacle "which the Lord pitched, not man." This reality of a faithful priest praying for us was not a scheme we devised, it is the plan of God. Man didn't build this tabernacle so that we could select a priest to pray for us. God built this tabernacle, He selected the priest, and He ordained the service. This is God's doing! How great is the love and care of God for our souls that He would institute such a service so that we might be atoned for!
PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH FAMILY
