Hebrews 8:1–2
1 "Now the main point in what has been said is this: we have such a high priest, who has taken His seat at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, 2 a minister in the sanctuary and in the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, not man."
By the author's own admission, here we reach "the main point in what has been said". And it is this. "We have such a high priest". The fear among the Hebrews was that following Jesus would get them excommunicated from thy synagogue and the temple and thus they would lose all of the privileges of the priestly services on their behalf. The writer of Hebrews says, "Nonsense!" We have a high priest! We have a better one! Have you made use of your high priest today?
PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH FAMILY
