Hebrews 6:19–20
19 "This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil, 20 where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek."
The next thing we learn about hope is that it is "both sure and steadfast". When manufacturers test actual anchors there are two main things to consider. How well does it grip the surface and how strong is the shaft once it grips. In other words, how sure is it and how steadfast is it? Our hope is both! God's hope sticks and God's hope never bends. Lay hold of His hope today by believing His promises!
