Hebrews 6:19–20
19 "This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil, 20 where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek."
The writer wants us to take hold of the hope set before us. Here he explains the value of hope. And first we read that hope is "an anchor for the soul". What a glorious thing to be anchored! To not be subject to every prevailing wind or every deceptive doctrine. Hope is what allows you to endure even when you don't understand. Praise God for hope today.
