MORE INFO COMING SOON, BUT HERE IS SOME PRELIMINARY INFO:
- Check in will be at 4:00 on Friday – October 23 (We’ll get started at 5:00)
- D-Now will conclude following our Sunday morning worship service at noon
- All parents are invited and encouraged to come to the final Sunday worship service @ 10:30 Sunday morning.
- Boys will be camping out in tents at the baseball field (Ball Field bathrooms – Bush Showers)
- Girls will be in host homes
- Kids will get wet and dirty at times
- Students will receive a D-Now T-shirt on Saturday night to wear Sunday
- We try to be careful (we will be taking temperatures upon arrival, and watching kids) but we do not enforce COVID-19 restrictions, all of that is left to the parent.
- We will honor your request for your child. For example if you tell us you want them wearing a mask, we’ll make sure they do it.
PACKING LIST FOR D-NOW (always prepare for the elements – rain, cold, etc. – especially for boys)
- Bible and Pen
- NO ELECTRONICS
- BOYS: Prepare to camp in tents (cot or sleeping bag and pillow, possibly an extra blanket, bug spray, flashlight)
- Boys will be using bush showers (yes, hot water heated in a barrel, it’s great)
- GIRLS: Prepare to stay in host homes
- Toiletries (toothbrush, soap, shampoo, etc.)
- Towels (1 for showering, 1 for wet games)
- Old clothes (Saturday afternoon offers graffiti wall painting and paintball)
- Sunscreen, shoes you can run in, prepare for cool evenings or wet weather
- Appropriate Clothes (nothing formal, but everything modest)
- A pair of jeans for Sunday morning worship (we’ll provide a D-Now T-shirt)
- Good attitude
